Since December 2008, I have been gathering resources and ideas for a major reworking of this site.  At first, I thought I might use a Flash-based system for delivering content.  However, I found that the interesting eye-candy was very easy to produce, but didn't give users of this website the opportunity to be more active in their participation. 

One aim of Rock Ministries (NI) Trust is to get as many people involved in promoting their relief work in Uganda and Rwanda, while recognising that not everyone can go there, not everyone can afford to sponsor a child or provide financial support for their many other projects.

However, people who visit this site can pray and encourage others to participate in whatever way they can.  Even by taking part in our occasional polls, joining in our forums, or leaving your comments on this site, you will be encouraging the Trustees in their work and helping build a real community of Rock Ministries Supporters.  Therefore, there will be increasing opportunities for visitors to this site to leave comments, discuss various subjects related to the Trust's work, and generally be supportive.

And so, the layout and design has been simplified, while the coding and effort in bringing innovation into the site has greatly increased.

Over the next few weeks or months, the necessary elements will be brought together to bring you a wider, more positive experience when visiting this site.
